I am a licensed physician in the state of California and a double-boarded child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist practicing in the Bay Area for the past decade. I have experience treating a variety of mental health conditions, with a deep expertise in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and gender-affirming care.

I provide compassionate, evidence-based care through medication management and have extensive training in both psychopharmacology and psychodynamic psychotherapy.

I am not currently accepting referrals specifically for the diagnosis or treatment of Autism or ADHD.

After obtaining my undergraduate training at the University of Texas, in Austin, I earned my medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington D.C.

From there, I completed the 5-year Triple Board residency program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. There, I boarded in Pediatrics and Adult Psychiatry, and earned my Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship. I also served as Chief Resident for the Triple Board program from 2012-2013. In addition to my residency training, I completed the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute’s Two-year Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program (CAPPP) further enhancing my psychotherapy skills.

I moved to the Bay Area in 2014 and worked initially for Community Psychiatry before spending several years at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF), where I served as the Palo Alto Psychiatry Medical Director and then the Chief of Behavioral Health for all of PAMF.

For my first decade in the Bay Area medical community, I worked at larger medical groups, but moved to my own psychiatry practice to fulfill my desire to work more closely with my patients.
