FAQs

Are services covered by insurance?

I am considered an out-of-network provider and I will not bill your insurance directly. I will provide an invoice or “superbill” after appointments so that you can seek reimbursement from your insurance if they cover out-of-network care. Please contact your insurance to confirm your policy.

Are visits in person or through tele-health?

Initial visits are in person unless there are specific reasons they must be done through tele-health (video visit). This would need to be discussed ahead of the visit. Follow up visits are offered either in person or via tele-health as clinically indicated and per your preference.

What is your cancellation policy?

All appointments will be charged the full fee if canceled with less than 48 hours' notice. When we schedule our appointment, I am committing that time to your care. As such, that time is unavailable to other patients, and late cancellations or missed appointments are disruptive to our care. Emergencies are considered on a case-by-case basis. If you arrive late to your appointment, your session will end at the scheduled time, and you will be responsible for the full cost of your service.

What are your fees? Please fill out the New Patient Interest Form to receive a full copy of all policies including fees.

What if I am having an emergency?

If you are having an emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Unfortunately I do not have the availability to schedule a new patient visit quickly enough to provide safe and appropriate care in an urgent or emergent situation.

If you are having suicidal thoughts please call the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-TALK (8255) or text 988 (988lifeline.org). You may also consider an Intensive Outpatient Program near you.
